Webserver Upgrade Dec 1, 2000
After extensive testing, Real Time's technical staff has announced upgrades to
the network's web servers. On 01-Dec-2000 Real Time will be upgrading its webservers to use
Sun's Java 2 SDK Standard Edition v1.3.0 (JDK 1.3).

With the upgrade to JDK 1.3, we also get a new release of the Java Servlet API.
On 01-Dec-2000 we will also upgrade the Servlet API to release 2.2

** NEW SERVICES/FEATURES **

On 01-Dec-2000 Real Time will be able to support Sun's JSP 1.1 release.
As an additional upgrade to web hosting services, the technical staff will install and
activate the Java Server Page (JSP) components. These components have been tested and used
by Real Time's development team on 2 major projects. Refer to the JSP url for more information
on how you can take advantage of this exciting technology.

Enhydra- Better development, easier update maintenance.
Real Time will also be supporting an exciting new technology from Lutris Technology known
as Enhydra. This Java Application Server totally separates your presentation logic (HTML)
from the java business/database logic using a tool called xmlc. Learn more about Enhydra
