Real Time Enterprises Announces Recent Media Interviews

Real Time's Technical Staff Interviewed by Radio and Newspaper Reporters

Bob Tanner, a network engineer who is a wireless security consultant with Real Time Enterprises of Eden Prairie, recently showed the Star Tribune that there are about 190 "wireless access points" in downtown Minneapolis. Many of them are unprotected from outsiders, and others are only minimally protected with weak encryption, or scrambling, software called WEP (wired equivalent privacy). During this demonstration, Bob was also interviewed by the reporter.

Carl Soderstrom, another network engineer with Real Time, was recently interviewed by WCCO Radio concerning the same basic material- WiFi access and security. Unfortunately, the interview is not available on the WCCO website.

Contact Rick Tanner at 952-943-8700 or rick@real-time.com to schedule interviews or learn more about Real Time Enterprises.
